To discover the fate of Agent Fitz, we must "Rewind" to the beginning of the season. That's where we find Fitz arrested by the military and held until he can tell them where the rest of SHIELD has gone. But it's hard for him to make much progress in jail, without all of his resources. Luckily he has sent for our old friend Lance Hunter, who breaks him out of jail to continue the search. It leads him to an ancient entity known as Enoch and a little girl known as 'The Seer'. It is her pictures that have prophesized the end of the Earth and led to the team's journey to the future.
