But Huck, who takes time to think things through, is often smart enough to see through the big talk that comes from Tom and choose the right path. Life on the Mississippi was anything but boring- unless you were an orphan boy stuck in a house with two spinster ladies trying to make sure you were walking the straight and narrow path.
