Taking a break from her bustling acupuncture practice at Sage Wellness Within, Andrea Thorpe stopped by Catt's bedroom to give us a primer on acupuncture, herbal medicine and listening to our bodies.

Andrea shares how she was first exposed to acupuncture as a patient -- when she sought treatment as an undergrad in college because she felt both "tired and wired" all at the same time. This turned out to be a transformative experience, as it not only made her feel exponentially better, but spurred Andrea to trade in a linguistics career for one in acupuncture. She also discusses the historical and spiritual origins of Chinese medicine; how she specializes in treating female patients in ways to improve overall health, hormone regulation, and fertility; and what her initial evaluation of Catt's own physical state was when she sought help from Andrea a few months ago.

Also, in this episode, Catt talks about being bloated, fatigued and feeling at wits end last year -- until she met Andrea.
