Submit ReviewIranian-born actor Marjan Neshat is especially busy this season. Beginning November 17, she’ll be in the play “Selling Kabul,” followed by “English” and then “Wish You Were Here,” all written by Middle Eastern playwrights. Neshat herself is a child of the Revolution: She was just 4 when the Shah fled the country. Her parents pulled her and her sister out a few years later, in 1985, after a number of incidents threatened not only their freedom but their safety. We talk about her background and her career on stage and in films—plus raising a son in Brooklyn.
