The University Accord, released by the Government yesterday, will see the number of university students more than double to 1.8 million a year by 2050, and see the profile of those students change.

University of Sydney Vice Chancellor Mark Scott says it shows a 'bold direction' but believes it also highlights how universities are already 'chronically underfunded'.
