Amy, Brett and Harley have been slaving away for your listening pleasure. On this week’s episode, Harley and Amy took the a cruise to explore one of the coldest, darkest and most stunning places in the US, Skagway, AK.
We discuss the Haunted Red Onion Brothel(also known as the Red Onion Saloon), and yes the haunting originates with a gold rush era lady of the night.
This oddity is not the most spooky, but does include a few Travel Oddities firsts.
The views are hugely responsible for the 900,000 annual tourists that stop into Skagway every year.
Amy is actively trying to start a feud with another podcast or more specifically, a “toaster.”
If you are planning a trip to Red Onion Brothel in Skagway, we have included some other activities in the area that should make the trip complete.
No Episode of the Travel Oddities Podcast would be complete without a place to grab a bite, and the Sippin’ Sasquatch is a definite win. You can eat reindeer, moose, or you can just grab an espresso and a Squatch-Dog.
Brett’s Alaska Top 5 is complete, but we have kept him in the basement until he finishes the rest of his homework.
