It is February 2008 in Arlington Heights Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, where we first meet a young man by the name of Justin Newman. Justin is a blonde-haired, blue-eyed 20-year old who was working at a home improvement store and trying to figure out what to do with his life. Justin, who lived with his mother, was a generous kid who had been working since he could so that he could help his mom pay the bills. He was a very likable kid, responsible and hard-working. Working at the improvement store, allowed him to meet a lot of construction workers and contractors and one of these contractors was a man by the name of Ari Squire. This chance meeting would leave a trail of destruction. As is so often the case, not all is what it seems.Join Jen and Cam on this episode of Our True Crime Podcast as we discuss ‘The Lying Game’ this week.
