Today’s episode is all about understanding how the deepest experiences we had in our childhoods can manifest in our adult lives. Molly welcomes Dr. Brad Reedy and he explains that the “attachment wounds” that we have today really are the result of some traumas we may have had in the past when we were forming our identity and having first connections. These wounds may have been developed due to some kind of abandonment and/or negligence.

Dr. Brad also discusses the importance of expressing ourselves, showing up as who we are in all situations, and respecting our time to heal old traumas. You will also learn the concepts of gaslighting (a psychological term to refer to subtle manipulation) and narcissism (a characteristic of someone who has a wound of not being seen or recognized). Tune in!
