Last Thursday, on August 12th, 22-year-old Jake Davison went on a shooting spree in Plymouth, England, killing his mother and four other victims before turning the gun on himself. One of the victims was a three year old girl. It was the first mass shooting in Britain in over ten years, and the shooter was connected to the incel community. I spent the weekend completely immersed in this case, and wrote a lengthy analysis about it for UnHerd, which you can read at: https://unherd.com/2021/08/what-the-media-gets-wrong-about-incels/ Liam Porter (@retinend) is a documentary filmmaker whose films are about YouTube, and fringe internet subcultures, which means we have a lot of shared interests, and by some fantastic dumb luck, we started talking just a couple of weeks ago... We discuss the case and go over his YouTube channel to provide something of a portrait of a killer.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Check out Liam’s fascinating films at: https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCxogz3p48eM6OL5Mz8bLgPw —————————————————————— Please check out my all new Patreon for ad-free, uncensored episodes and weekly blogs! https://www.patreon.com/NaamaKates ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's finally here, boyos.
