Omayra Sanchez was a Colombian girl trapped and killed by landslide when she was 13 years. Her suffering was documented by journalists as aid workers tried to ease her suffering. Frank Fournier took a photo of her shortly before her death and it won the World Press Photo of the Year in 1986. Pol Pot was a Cambodian dictator. The killing fields is where more than one million people were killed and buried by the Khmer Rouge - which was a state-sponsored genocide that Pol Pot led.
