Gretchen Wilson and John Berry- 2 Part Podcast! I LOVE these 2 artists. Gretchen Wilson is the original "Redneck Woman." I will never forget when that song came out and ruled the Country Charts, totally changing the game. Gretchen and I talk all about her career, raising a teenage daughter, touring (she makes sure to eat healthy and get lots of rest on the road) and why she feels it is so important to be authentic to yourself, she also tells me the 1 thing left on her bucket list..... Then John Berry joins me and talks all about his career Hay-Day when he was topping the charts with songs like "Your Love Amazes Me," "Standing on the Edge of Goodbye," and "She's Taken A Shine." He also revealed to me that in the height of his career he discovered he had a life threatening brain tumor, and survived. His journey is amazing. John made touring fun with his family on the road; he made a secret underground playroom on his bus... There was a seat in the front lounge that lifted up and led to stairs, taking you to the bay (underground) of the bus where he had a TV, pillows and hangout area- YES PLEASE! #nashville #podcast #carolinehobby #gretchenwilson #redneckwoman #johnberry #YourLoveAmazesMe
