Ed Kemper always had issues with his mother, Clarnell. She never tried to hide her true feelings about him. Clarnell was the one person Ed wanted out of his life. He took his rage and anger, that he had against his mother, out on trusting college girls who needed a ride to destinations that most would, sadly, never make it to. Ed thought to himself that he couldn’t kill anymore of these girls because they were not the source of his pain or the ones he really wanted dead.
