When we come across a complicated problem, over analyzing will only make it more complex to solve. Look for the simplicity amongst the chaos. This is The Psychology of Entrepreneurship, a highly produced, revealing audio docuseries that follows me, Ronsley Vaz, and my guests, as we strive to go inside & unravel the inner workings of the mind of an entrepreneur, artist, athlete, academic; to decipher what is the psychology of our decisions. If you are an entrepreneur (BTW we consider that mothers are the original entrepreneurs), and would like to understand why we do certain things in certain situations, and if small changes in thinking can deliver massive amounts of results in success and happiness, then this podcast is for you. Luke Coutinho likes to keep things simple. That may seem like a silly thing to say about a guy who owns a mega-successful Integrative Lifestyle Medicine and Life Coaching business. That alone sounds complicated! But he’s gotten where he is today thanks to his unique gift of finding the simplicity within complicated health problems. Luke has patients waiting four months to a year to see him and his team of talented health care professionals. But it’s not just his popularity that’s admirable. He’s won awards from the World Health and Wellness Congress, Vogue’s Best of Industry, GQ Under 40 and Times Power Man of the Year, just to name a few. He’s known throughout the health and wellness world as the go-to guy for lifestyle centred treatment. And he’s also one of my oldest friends. Luke and I went to school together, so I’m well aware of how uncomplicated he can be. We spent many a day skipping class to play cricket and hang out, but that’s neither here nor there… In this volume, Luke breaks down the philosophy behind his business, which is, you guessed it- simplicity. He explains why we all need to disconnect a bit from the outer world and reconnect with our inner world. He tells us how he does this, and what he recommends for his patients, so they can do the same. Luke is a huge believer in personal change and accountability, and we had a killer conversation about his journey. I use some previous guests to help pick apart the magic of simplicity, as well as one of my favourite Ted Talks of all time. To put it simply, you’re not going to want to miss this one. Other great stuff in this volume: * The many different diseases Luke and his team have been able to treat successfully * Luke just doesn’t do complicated * Why drugs aren’t the solution to our health problems * Content saturation is pulling us further and further away from ourselves * The paradox of McDonald’s in India * Why Luke puts so much value in his routine * Why should always end your day in reflection * You don’t always have to scale your business * The inner world vs. the outer world Links & Resources: Luke’s Website The Magic Immunity Pill Lifestyle Luke on Twitter Luke on Instagram The Psychology of Entrepreneurship Volume 01: Philip McKernan The Psychology of Entrepreneurship Volume 27: Emily Fletcher Richard Straver’s TedX Talk: Simplicity is the Ultimate Sophistication  Video: How to Simplify Your Life
