We tell you what you need to know, and bring you an interview with Adam MacDougall of Circles Around the Sun.

#1—Jam Just Happened on March 20! Just a couple weeks away, we’ll see a brand new supergroup featuring Scott Metzger, Adam Chase from Jazz is Phish, John Kimock from Mike Gordon Band, and Andy Hess, who has played with John Scofield and many others. There will be more players announced leading up to the event. Tickets are going fast, so get yours now.

#2—Brooklyn Comes Alive on March 21! The day after Jam Just Happened is Brooklyn Comes Alive. You can see Oteil and Friends (with Scott Metzger, Eric Krasno and more great musicians), Birds of a Feather (featuring Rick, Trevor and Peter of Goose and Jeremy and Alex from Pigeons Playing Ping Pong), The Motet (with Taz), Robert Randolph and Friends (featuring Ivan Neville, Robert Randolph, Karl Denson and others), and more. See you there!

#3—Keller Williams on Brokedown Podcast. This week Jonathan sits down with Keller to talk about his long career as a solo artist and his many collaborations. They start from way back and go through this year’s upcoming shows with the Keels, Grateful Grass, and solo, of course. They also talk about Leo Kottke, Charlie Hunter, and, of course, the Grateful Dead.

#4—HF Pod and Beyond the Pond Mexico recaps. Team HF Pod goes through each Mexico show with highlights and clips, and Dave and Brian from Beyond the Pond give an overview of the Mexico run and play some non-Phish music as well.

#5—Interview with Circles Around the Sun’s Adam MacDougall. You all know this band, and at this point they’re on a tour with Scott Metzger on guitar. We sat down with Adam MacDougall, and the interview is included here. We talk about the band moving on without Neal Casal, Adam’s musical journey, and more. You can see their tour dates at JamBase.
