Despite jumping out to a two-score lead and knocking New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees from the contest, the San Francisco 49ers and head coach Kyle Shanahan failed to take advantage of the situation -- or successfully move the ball -- resulting in the Niners' third blowout loss in as many weeks.

Niner Noise Podcast hosts Chris Wilson (@cgawilson) and Robert Morrison (@rs_morrison) discuss a pair of excellent showings from the SF 49ers' two first-round rookies -- wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk and defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw -- in what was otherwise a lackluster performance by the reigning NFC Champions.

The duo then breaks down everything that went wrong in NOLA, and what actions should be taken over the Niners' bye week, which Shanahan has finally reached after a month of passive and predictable play-calling.
