It was bad.
Real bad.
I had a few bowls of cereal the day before as sort of an indulgent gift to myself before the start of the new week (I love me a good bowl of cereal with oat milk). I haven't had it for several weeks and thought nothing of it.
Then the next day, it happened. All at once.
I had one of the worst cases of bloating, indigestion, brain fog, mood swings, and fatigue that I have ever had. It felt like a combination of what your stomach would feel like after drinking swamp water and what your body would feel like after pulling three all-nighters without any stimulants.
IT. WAS. TERRIBLE.
It took almost 24 hours of not ingesting anything but water to start feeling myself again. Then it hit me. It had to be the cereal..right???
