Ichak Adizes | Managing Corporate Lifecycles | Book Review by Lisa Woodruff CEO of Organize 365

On Mondays, I will be posting a podcast recording of previously recorded book reviews. These are books that have impacted me that I want to share with you. In September, I review the books that helped me to build the Dream Team I have today. Business leadership and team building are one of my favorite parts of being a CEO. I also share how I found and use a highly skilled executive assistant to improve my own productivity. I share about how I have searched for and added team members, how we delegate, and how we are navigating the different stages of building a business.

This week, my book review is of Managing Corporate Lifecycles by Ichak Adizes. This is a two volume series. I would recommend these for a business of 10 or more employees that are looking for deeper information on growth. These books go through different life cycles and stages of a business, and help the owners to see and prevent the problems that will cause the business to die. This book also helped me to understand how I needed to grow for the business to succeed.

These are heavy complicated books that are somewhat expensive and highly specialized, so I would not recommend them for everyone. Despite that, I found these very helpful in identifying some of my own mistakes and missteps so I wanted to share them in case they are helpful for you.
