On Mondays, I will be posting a podcast recording of previously recorded book reviews. These are books that have impacted me that I want to share with you. In September, I review the books that helped me to build the Dream Team I have today. Business leadership and team building are one of my favorite parts of being a CEO. I also share how I found and use a highly skilled executive assistant to improve my own productivity. I share about how I have searched for and added team members, how we delegate, and how we are navigating the different stages of building a business.
This week, I am reviewing Virtual Freedom: How to Work with Virtual Staff to Buy More Time, Become More Productive, and Build Your Dream Business by Chris Ducker. I have been lucky enough to have been coached by Chris. This book will talk you through learning to delegate and outsource.
When I talk with women business owners, I share that it is often easier to outsource household tasks (cleaning, laundry, meal prep) than it is to build a business team. The book teaches you how to make “3 Lists to Freedom” and ensure you are focusing on the most important tasks in your business. I discuss these lists in the video and how to apply them to work and home. The best part of the book is that Chris tells you how to hire a virtual assistant and delegate your tasks.
You can also watch this as a video review on YouTube.
