Every autumn, Chuck and I scour local (and not-so-local) comic and collectible stores to track down our white whales - two of the Universal Movie Monster/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover figures. This is the seventh year we've undertaken the quixotic quest, and the FIRST time we've recorded our chatter in the car DURING the trip! We visit the RI/MA chains The Time Capsule and the Toy Vault, as well as That's Entertainment (Worcester MA), Bargain City Flea (Cumberland RI), Midway Antiques (Johnston RI), and Joff's Backyard Grill (Bellingham MA). We are joined by Lou Perella as we discuss the quest itself, my distaste for grime, our feelings on collectibles and growing up, as well as delicious hot dogs smothered in pulled pork and grated cheese.
