Dollar, dollar bills ya'll, or in this case leprechaun gold and house elf slavery (womp, womp). Sure, we could have talked about the politics of organized sports in this chapter because there's a lot of physicality and play-by-plays involved here... But what stood out to me and my guest (who also happens to be my husband) was how there was the access money buys you (and how old-money wizards are all about the house elves that come with their homes).
Also, what actually happens to the gold that the leprechauns conjured? Does it have any monetary value at Gringotts or is it more of a Monopoly money situation? And why, exactly, is Lucius Malfoy donating to St. Mungo's? And... poor Winky, scared of heights, but even more scared about what happens when House Elves start getting ideas about their worth and freedom.
