Hey, what band are you with? This week we go backstage with ALMOST FAMOUS, the 2000 semi-autobiographical rock & roll epic written and directed by Cameron Crowe and starring Patrick Fugit, Billy Crudup, Kate Hudson, Frances McDormand, Jason Lee and the music, man. It's the story of a young, prodigy rock writer and his brutal disillusionment with his musical idols after he joins their rolling musical bacchanalia to get a story for Rolling Stone magazine. Yeah man, they did the same thing to me! Sitting in on our jam is the great Johnnie Walker! This movie got us, man, when we were younger, but how does it hold up today?
