At 14, Chance was impacted by the surprising lack of literacy worldwide. Rather than simply wondering about this issue or dismissing it as an unfortunate truth, he decided to take action. Starting a non-profit that works with partner organizations and individuals, Chance, through WGI (Wilson Global Initiative,) is hoping to rid the world of illiteracy. WGI operates in six different countries with plans to continue expanding globally. It continues to be led by its founder and CEO, Chance Wilson, who is currently 17 years old.
