I am absolutely delighted to have Sharese Bullock-Bailey, Urbanworld Foundation Inc., Chief Innovation Officer & Founder of Overstand. We talk about how Sharese got her first job for a woman entrepreneur at age 14, and at the same time got to start her first internship at 14. We talk about how important finance can be, and how Sharese has been working to help young and emerging artists and story tellers. She has been working on focusing on getting a good return on impact, instead of only looking for a return on investment. We talk about how Sharese has gotten to where she is now, and got to work again with her first mentor Gabrielle Glore at Urbanworld. Sharese shares about how vital and important it is to help get funding to amazing women and people of color so that their stories can be told. We both bond over how we've had to hack together wifi systems, and Sharese shares an incredible story about hacking together a wifi system with just smartphones for propping up the filmmakers and artists there.

Sharese would love for everyone to check out: urbanworld.org, and come visit the festival in New York City, November 1st-5th.

"People often forget what you've said, people often forget what you've done, but people always remember they way you've made them feel," -Maya Angelou <- A quote that Sharese would give to share with you
