What a zany ride St. Elmo's Fire is! Written and directed by Joel Schumacher, 1985's St. Elmo's Fire features several actors of "Brat Pack" fame and delves into the topic of what happens to friends after college when you can still drink like a fish but uh oh, have to hold down a steady job and start to contemplate the meaning of life?! This movie is ridiculous in the best way possible - the characters are all terrible people, there's tons of cocaine, talk of "Arabs", and one friend's big dream is to become a professional saxophone player!
