This week, to coincide with the long-awaited sequel currently in theatres, we declare our INDEPENDENCE DAY and discuss the 1996 sci-fi action adventure directed by Roland Emmerich and starring Will Smith, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Brent Spiner, Randy Quaid and Mary McDonnell. Let's not forget Mae Whitman, because Roland Emmerich sure did. We enjoyed independence when we we younger, but how does it hold up now?
