Will drives Ed and Emma to Borchester and warns the excited couple to get their act together for their important meeting at the bank. When they come away disappointed, Will’s sympathetic, before reminding them why he’s there - to lay some flowers and visit Nic on the anniversary of her death. He visits Nic’s grave and thinks things over, coming back with an offer – how much do they need for the business? He can raise the mortgage on No 1 The Green and lend Emma and Ed the money, if they’ll consider it.

Alice works out that Fallon staying over was something to do with Harry – Fallon and Harrison have seemed a bit ‘funny’ with him recently. Fallon thinks quickly and says maybe she and Harrison are concerned that Alice and Harry are rushing into their relationship.

Panicked Fallon shares the awkward conversation with Harrison, who regrets saying anything. Alice is short with Harrison after Fallon’s deception, but he insists Fallon just cares about her. Harrison asks Alice to trust him, that there are reasons Alice needs to be careful of Harry – but when she demands to know why, Harrison tells her he can’t say. So why should Alice listen?
