The 80s were full of cartoons used to sell toys and one of the most popular were the Transformers, not only did they have their own cartoon, but they also had a theatrically released animated movie, cementing their place in the hearts of many that would lead to a collaboration between Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay to bring them to live action.
