Submit ReviewEvelina Nilsson's passion for skiing is woven together with her lifelong journey through spirituality. She and her siblings were inspired by their father's enthusiasm for skiing, in their home town of Luleå tucked right under the Arctic Circle, where she started ski racing at the early age of 6.
At the age of 12, Evelina's life would take a serious detour as she developed a "severe" eating disorder. She explains how through hospitalization, support from her family and leaning into her spirituality helped her overcome the disease and put her on the path towards curating positive energy in her own life and encouraging the same in others.
Evelina went on to compete in moguls then in freeride. She would go on to win her very first competition at the Scandinavian Big Mountain Championship which put her on the path to the Freeride World Tour. We speak about her love of Yoga, her current goals in skiing, filming with The Bunch, almost buying a hostel with her brother and lots more.
