On this week's episode hosts Cassie and Daniel make a comeback after a brief 1 week hiatus!  The pair talk about how good it feels to be back after not recording in quite some time.  Daniel talks about his triumphant return to his job after the government shutdown ended at the same time the Denver Public School teachers went on strike!  Daniel defends himself by insisting that he did not give himself food poisoning while binging Killing Eve then sharing the story of how he gave himself food poisoning.  Cassie shares the sad news of Matt's dad's passing and a silver lining funny story about an interaction she had with one of Matt's dad's cousins at the memorial service.

The hosts crack open a couple bottles of Pinot Gris to pair with this week's cases.

Cassie jumps across the pond to the UK for the long, twisty, and outrageous case of William Mack.  Daniel heads to Cassie's home state of Arizona for his equally crazy case of James Arthur Ray.
