The Carolina Panthers will put on pads for the first time in Training Camp on Monday afternoon. The expectation is that Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold will continue to compete for the starting quarterback job. Considering that Darnold has struggled through his first four seasons in the NFL and that the Panthers spent the offseason searching for a replacement, why is Darnold a part of the competition?
