He describes how voters in Boulder, Colorado, approved a measure to ensure the right to counsel for people fighting eviction, and Nebraskans voted to restrict payday lending in their state. Meanwhile, voters in other states passed measures to protect women’s reproductive rights as they come under increasing attack at the federal level.
