In this episode, the Retro Movie Geek crew are joined by Jason Grooms (find more from Jason here: "Looking For Spoons" & "Geek on the Peak TV"), and are geeking out over Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) and cinematographythe creepy factorlittle things in the backgroundthe endingand much, much more! Synopsis: Filmy spores fall from space over San Francisco, and the city blossoms with beautiful new flora. People take the flowers home but, as they sleep, the plants creep over them, devouring their bodies and stealing their identities – everything except their emotions… their uniqueness… their souls. Suddenly the city is full of people complaining that someone close to them has changed… Directed by Philip Kaufman, with chilling special effects, the film ends with the single most horrifying frame in movies, which literally curdles your blood, and makes your hair stand on end! ..........................................................................................................................
