In 2010 in Montgomery, Georgia, journalist Gillian Laub uncovered a murder. An 62-year-old white man had shot an killed a 19-year-old black man, and had all but gotten away with it. The journalist, Gillian Laub, had fist come to the town the year before to document Montgomery’s longstanding tradition of  segregated proms. Yes, SEGREGATED PROMS IN 2009 IN AMERICA!
