How much consumers should expect to pay for food was the topic for panellists of a digital conference organised this week by the The Rural Policy Group. It is a think tank set up to campaign for better representation of agriculture in politics. Speakers at the conference discussed what things reinforce consumers expectation of low-priced food, and how that could be changed in order to make pricing fairer for all. And we delve into the world of a still relatively niche farm animal - the goat.
