The Fellowship is pleased to present our discussion of movies from the summer of 1984. It's one of those rare years that have so much going on that we couldn't (or didn't want to ) narrow it down. There are a ton of good movies that came out that year, including a few that we might come back to later, and a whole lot of other stuff. Plus getting back to our silly ways, as well as our picks of the week.
Announcements:
What we're up to this week:
Big Bag o' Nothing - I hate home ownership (and a rant about citizenship)
Dead Like Me on Hulu - pretty good, watched it on Hulu's recommendation; also some slightly awkward love for Jackyl and a rehash of the old Joker rant (sorry)
Comics (shocking, right?) - Star Trek: The Key Collection vol 5; Batman: The War Years
(and we're down one this week - Les will be back next week 🙂 )
The summer of 1984 gave us an impressive number of entertaining movies, no doubt about it.
Picks for the week of 6/26:
Canto #1 (IDW)
Stitched: Terror #1 (Avatar Press)
Planet Nine #1 (Antarctic Press)
Steel Cage #1 (Ahoy Comics)
Not Brand Echh! Complete Collection (Marvel)
Peter Porker The Spectacular Spider-Ham: The Complete Collection vol 1 (Marvel)
Leave On The Light #1 (Antarctic Press)
The Weatherman 2 #1 (Image)
