This week on the show we dissect a veritable sequel to the 1980 Kubrick film "The Shining." "Doctor Sleep" is a film that no one needed but one that Stephen King REALLY wanted. Does a faithful translation from book to movie do it any favors or should this story have remained locked up in the pages of it's source material? Our first beer is a seasonal release from Deschutes (Bend, OR) called "Marionberry Lavender Sour." It's easy-drinking and refreshing but leaves a little to be desired. Our second is an imperial stout called "Wake Up Dead" from Left Hand Brewing (Longmont, CO). What the hell does Jonny mean when he says "south mouth?"
