We had such a fun time transposing first season TNG episodes to fourth season TOS episodes, we thought we'd do it again! This time we're looking at the Next Generation's second season for potential adventures that could've easily been part of The Original Series' fifth. Could Uhura have been the mother of The Child? What if Harry Mudd was The Outrageous Okana? Double the Shantner, double the fun in Time Squared? And could the much maligned Shades of Gray actually made for a fitting conclusion to the five year mission in 1971? All this and a few fun tangents as usual in this episode of Standard Orbit. Hosts  Ken Tripp and Zach Moore    Feature  Welcome to Standard Orbit! (00:01:11)  The Child (00:03:40)  The Outrageous Okana (00:13:30)  Contagion (00:22:44) The Royale (00:28:09) Time Squared (00:32:58) Up The Long Ladder (00:40:03)
Shades of Gray (00:48:14) Final Thoughts (00:57:57)  Thank You for Listening to Standard Orbit (00:52:32)    Production  C Bryan Jones (Executive Producer), Ken Tripp (Executive Producer), Matthew Rushing (Executive Producer), Charlene Schmiedt (Executive Producer), Zach Moore (Editor), Renee Roberts (Associate Producer), Richard Rutledge (Associate Producer), Aaron Harvey (Associate Producer), Richard Marquez (Production Manager)
