Heather Moorefield-Lang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Library and Information Studies at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. She started as a theater teacher and school librarian in the NC school systems. She has long been interested in how technologies can enhance instruction in libraries and classrooms. Her current research focuses on makerspaces in libraries of all types. She had the honor of being nominated for the White House Champion of Change for Making in 2016 and was awarded an American Association of School Librarians Social Media Superstars in the area of Tech Troubadours in 2018. Gina Seymour is the library media specialist at Islip High School Library on Long Island, NY. She has a Masters in Library Science from Queens College and a Masters in Education (Instructional Technology) from NYIT where she graduated with distinction and also received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Technology. She is the 2014 recipient of the SSLMA School Librarian of the Year award. Named Library Journal’s Movers & Shakers 2017, Change Agent; read story here.

Gina believes in active participation and giving back to our profession through service. Gina serves on the American Library Association’s Website Advisory Committee and is Chairperson for YALSA’s Website Advisory Committee.
