The Travel Oddities Podcast has done its fair share of haunted highways, bridges, and even haunted road trips, but this may be the most haunted roadway so far.
Named after Patriarch Arthur Blood, Bloods Point rd. runs between Fairdale and Wheeler roads, 20 minutes SE of Rockford and for years has been considered to be not only the states most haunted stretch of road but one the most haunted locations in the world.
Sightings include: The trees lining the road appear to turn into humans as though to stand guard. A witch named Beaula walking the bridge at night appearing to look for someone or something. A black cat has often been seen darting in front of passing vehicles causing them to swerve into the ditch. Phantom cars, big rigs, old buses, old pickups and a phantom cop car can be seen all hours of the night. Mysterious lights have been seen in the trees. Reports of people being chased by HELL HOUNDS.
