At the shop Jim takes on the assembly of a tricky display box that’s stumped Susan. She bombards him with community ideas – she’d like to run for parish council. Jim is relieved to inform her that she’s missed the deadline for putting herself forward. Tracy apologises to Jazzer for lying to Susan about their date. She explains now she’s told her children and her dad, Susan can be told. With Susan gossiping about Martha’s godparents, Tracy suggests Jazzer should have been in the running, seeing as he delivered her. Susan doesn’t hold back in pointing out exactly why Jazzer is not godfather material, only for Tracy to announce that he is now her boyfriend. Susan does her best to put a new spin on the things she’s just said about Jazzer! Fallon manoeuvres professionally around Jennifer’s requests in the Tearoom kitchen. Jennifer admits she owes Fallon an explanation for Kate’s behaviour yesterday, but stops short of an actual apology. She complains she hasn’t had an apology herself from Kate. Fallon softens towards Jennifer slightly when she comes to understand how much she misses her kitchen at Home Farm. Jazzer solves the display box challenge before telling Jim he’s dating Tracy. Jim’s pleased; he’s won a bet he had with Alistair. When Jazzer asks if Jim thinks it’ll work, Jim declares that’s not for him to say. Later Jim and Susan mull over the pairing of Tracy and Jazzer. Both of them are good people but together how much chaos might they cause?!
