On September 24, 2017, after twelve long years, the fallow times of Star Trek ended. The long-awaited seventh installment in the television franchise—Star Trek: Discovery—arrived and brought with it a whirlwind of emotions. Finally, two years’ worth of speculation has been laid to rest.
