Dubai's ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has been involved in a high-profile legal case with his ex-wife Princess Haya of Jordan. In February 2019, he divorced her under Shariah law. However, she wants to retain custody of her children which he is opposing.
