Submit ReviewNow that the conversation about race and Black Lives Matter has come to a forefront, it's important that we understand how we can each keep it going within our homes and communities. Danielle asks Charnaie all about having a dialogue about racial injustice with our kids, whether they are young or teenagers, ways we can incorporate cultural awareness into our households on a daily basis, and looking inward (and around us) to become true advocates and allies to the Black Lives Matter movement. Also, why not everyone needs to advocate in the same way, and what Charnaie hopes will happen from this moment forward to become a more equal and just society. While this conversation is just the tip of the iceberg concerning the questions that need to be asked and answered, it is a good point from which to begin, and covers many relatable topics about which so many of us are hoping to begin to acknowledge and understand. If you are looking to become a more socially aware and culturally conscientious parent, this is definitely an episode you don't want to miss.
