In this episode of The Cycling Podcast, Richard Moore, Lionel Birnie and Daniel Friebe discuss the European Championship road races and the conclusion of the Tour of Poland.
The theme of the episode is the continuing brilliant results being achieved by young riders – the latest being Pavel Sivakov's victory in Poland – and we ask why this generation of riders in their early 20s is making such a strong mark on the peloton.
We also hear from another young rider, Tao Geoghegan Hart about his performance in Poland, the impact Bjorg Lambrecht's death had on the peloton and also the upcoming Vuelta a España. Geoghegan Hart is touted to be the Team Ineos leader in Spain later this month. "Speculation," is all he will say in response to that, though.
