This past week the deadline passed for the Brewers to decide which players they would tender a contract (and potentially go to arbitration with) and which players to non-tender therefore cutting ties with. The most interesting decision was to non-tender Jonathan Schoop, who had a very disappointing run with the Brewers but also cost the team a fair amount to acquire and has a pretty good track record prior to the trade.
