Learn more at www.parkpower.ca Jimmy Jackson, owner of Cut-Rite Meats is my guest this week. Cut-Rite meats is located in the SE Calgary community of Forest Lawn. The business was opened up in Calgary in 1962 by his grandfather and Jimmy says it is the oldest butcher shop in Calgary. I really appreciate that they purchase their meat directly from the farms and break down the animals in the shop. This allows them to control the cuts and to offer the customer exactly what they want. They have recently opened up an online butcher shop including delivery in Calgary, and check out the Jimmy’s Smoke Shack section with items selected specifically for the bbq community.
