In thinking about the self-work that we've done, we talk about how self-love and self-care relate. The podcast has always been about our struggles and introspection on the different aspects of our identity - even the parts we aren't fond of. Embracing all the different aspects of who we are can be difficult and messy, but doing so is the only way to truly find compassion for yourself.
In finding yourself, we also discuss the importance of not using self-care as escapism. Maintaining a healthy balance between external and internal validation will ensure self-care doesn't end up in self-indulgence.
