Every once in a while, activism for the Earth seems to go on pause.   And the Earth in its apocalypse project also slows down its breathing and looks at the valley.  There is a moment with no fires and floods… We are in that time now and we feel stranded with our activism.  We don’t know how to style our confrontation with the fossil-scape.  There are not many slow and long preparations now.  The turns in the battle for life are sudden.  The Earth is our guide, giving us our muscle and our music.  We will know what to do as we slide into the poisoned air, into the biosphere, into the raging flood.  The experience of the Earth will be our gift to and gift from this place. Guest: Andrew Revkin, Founding Director of the Initiative on Communication & Sustainability, Columbia University
