Today, release day, is October 3rd, and to many of our listeners that particular date means only one thing. Yes, it's a Mean Girls reference than we don't really understand, but we've decided to (sort of) build an episode around it anyway.

Basically, Mean Girls is a movie. And it has music in it. And other movies have music too. In fact, movies and music go hand-in-hand. You get where we're going with this.

As huge music fans, a soundtrack can quite literally make or break even the most intriguing of pictures for us, and this week we're talking about some of our all-time favourite musical moments within the films we love. It's simple, really.

With tunes from the likes of Echo & The Bunnymen, David Bowie, Pixies, Black Swede and The Last Bayou Ramblers it's an episode jam-packed with bangers, and that's not even to mention our musical highlights from the spectacular Lykke Li and Jordan Rakei.
