Adil tells Lynda he has a doctor’s appointment. He’s not been sleeping well. Lynda comments that the new doctor is very good. As Adil’s phone rings yet again, Lynda recommends he turn it off. Adil agrees and rejects the call. Later Lynda extols the virtues of Ambridge and its community to Azra. When Azra finds out Lynda lives at Ambridge Hall, she says she might just take up Lynda’s invitation to stay there. At his appointment Adil’s shocked to find his doctor is Azra. She urges him to take a seat before commenting he looks terrible. She’s only saying this because she loves him and is concerned. He admits he’s worried about Grey Gables. Azra wishes he’d tell her when he’s struggling. Her little brother never changes. Preparing Penny Hassett church for a Bible Study class, Usha asks distracted Alan if he’s ok. Before he has a chance to respond, Rob comes in. Usha tries to throw him out but Alan admits they’ve spoken a few times. Appalled Usha doesn’t believe Rob is ill, and reminds Alan of his responsibilities to his parishioners, including Helen and her family. She tells Alan about Rob luring Henry to meet him. Alan protests he has to listen to Rob with an open mind, but later breaks the news to Rob that he can’t baptise him. He’s spoken to the Bishop, who’s suggested a vicar in another parish. After initial protest, Rob accepts this and thanks Alan. Later Rob corners angry Usha. They exchange bitter words, with Rob ending the conversation on a threat.
